Electrical Self Consumption

The reduced cost of solar installations brought together with the increased cost of electrical energy produced by end consumers in recent years, has paved the way for the arrival of grid parity in many regions throughout the world.

Photovoltaic electrical energy consists of generating electrical energy with photovoltaic panels for self-consumption.

The solutions offered fall into three groups based on the relationship established between solar production and the electrical network for each case:

  • Installations isolated from the grid
  • Installations with time-delayed self-consumption
  • Installations with instantaneous self-consumption

CIRCUTOR SA establishes a union between knowledge of the measurement, management and improvement of the quality of the electrical energy of the CIRCUTOR group, and taking advantage of the renewable sources that produce it, has designed solutions for integrating renewable energies in the electrical network in self-consumption applications, both instantaneous and time-delayed for industrial applications, service and even residential buildings.

A solution for every building

Given that every building has a different demand curve as well as distinctiveness in terms of grid availability, CIRCUTOR Energy has designed different solutions that adapt to each individual case in order to offer better solar resource management while optimizing efficiency, simplifying management and allowing the greatest possible cost savings.

What is instantaneous self-consumption?

Instantaneous self-consumption consists of generating electrical energy and consuming it at the same time.

This particular form of electricity generation greatly increasing because it is this form of electricity generation that makes it possible to authorise generation installations as any type of electrical installation. Instantaneous self-consumption simplifies and reduces the cost of managing photovoltaic installation to the authorities, making it equivalent in legislation terms to a diesel generator.

This simplification means that more and more consumers are becoming interested in instantaneous self-consumption as an alternative, efficient and cheaper energy source.
